Terms of Service

You must be 18 or older to hold an account. Keep your sign-in details private, use the service lawfully, and only add information about other people when you have their permission to do so.

Famly Link is a coordination tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or emergency services. In a medical or life-threatening emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.

A Care Team is created by a family organizer, who decides who joins and what each person can see. Anyone with permission to manage a Care Team is responsible for the access they grant. Access can be removed at any time.

Famly Link sends text messages (SMS) in two situations, and both need permission first.

Invitations. When a family organizer invites someone to a Care Team, they enter that person's mobile number and confirm on the form that they have that person's permission to be texted. The invitee then receives one text containing their private, single-use invitation link and opt-out instructions.

Reminders and alerts. A signed-in user may opt in on the Notification settings screen by entering their own mobile number and ticking the box that reads: "Yes, text me Famly Link reminders and alerts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help." Nothing is sent until that opt-in is given.

Frequency. An invitation is a single message. Reminder and alert frequency varies with what is happening in the Care Team.

Cost. Famly Link does not charge for text messages, but message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Stopping messages. Reply STOP to any Famly Link text to stop texts to that number; you will receive one confirming reply. Reply HELP for help. You can also turn text messages off at any time in the app's Notification settings. Opt-in records are stored with the number, date and time.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. See the Famly Link Privacy Policy and text messages page.

Famly Link offers a free plan and paid plans billed monthly or yearly. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from Plan & Billing. Choosing a smaller plan never deletes your family's information.

You keep ownership of the information you add. How we handle it is described in the Privacy Policy. You can export it or ask for your account to be deleted from Settings.

We work to keep Famly Link available and secure, but the service is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, Famly Link is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for missed or delayed messages.
